Austin and Kayla did so well during the show, they were so well behaved. I was a proud mommy. They looked so cute, I just had to take a picture.

One of the moms on Austins t-ball team told me about the Green Meadows Petting Farm and Pumpkin Patch by Joe Pool Lake. I decided to check it out and took the kids. They had so much fun. Austin and Kayla both love goats! Kayla especially loved the little baby goats. They even sat through a show where a horse could solve math problems and then we saw a pig race. It was hilarious! The only bad thing was that it was so crowded, too many schools. The kids saw a bunch of different animals and we will go back next year!

Trip to the Dallas Zoo

We finally went to the zoo for the first time. Kayla and Austin both loved the zoo. Kayla loved waving "hi" to all the animals. We met Grandmother, Kennedy and Grammy and had so much fun. The kids are such a joy to be around. Kennedy really loved pulling Kayla or Austin in the wagon. I call the kids the "little walters trio". They are all growing up so fast. We got to see Jenny the elephant that has been on the news so much lately. The zoo was fun for all of us and we can't wait to go back.

Last trip to the Arboretum

Our membership to the Arboretum expired in September and these are some photos from our last trip. The kids had such a great time!

Fall 2008 Crusaders T-ball

Austin played t-ball this fall for the Crusaders. They were a 3 and under team and had six games. He loved hitting the ball, but not so much playing the field. Towards the end of the season though he did run after the ball and throw it to first base. Here are some memories from his t-ball season.
