All of the kids that live in my parents neighborhood. They all meet up at one place and off they go to trick or treat.

The kids had such a fun Halloween. First they went to my parents house to trick or treat in the neighborhood. They had a great time, especially Austin running around with all of the kids. Kayla always had a smile on her face. She loved going up the houses. First she would say Hi and then she would take the candy out herself and put it in her little bucket. Then we went out to Grammy and Papas so they could see the kids dressed up. Granddaddy loved seeing the kids. After that we took the kids to see Grandpa and Nani. Austin and Kayla had a great time going from house to house. It was a successful Halloween for the kids neither of them were scared of anything.

Austin and Kayla did so well during the show, they were so well behaved. I was a proud mommy. They looked so cute, I just had to take a picture.

One of the moms on Austins t-ball team told me about the Green Meadows Petting Farm and Pumpkin Patch by Joe Pool Lake. I decided to check it out and took the kids. They had so much fun. Austin and Kayla both love goats! Kayla especially loved the little baby goats. They even sat through a show where a horse could solve math problems and then we saw a pig race. It was hilarious! The only bad thing was that it was so crowded, too many schools. The kids saw a bunch of different animals and we will go back next year!

Trip to the Dallas Zoo

We finally went to the zoo for the first time. Kayla and Austin both loved the zoo. Kayla loved waving "hi" to all the animals. We met Grandmother, Kennedy and Grammy and had so much fun. The kids are such a joy to be around. Kennedy really loved pulling Kayla or Austin in the wagon. I call the kids the "little walters trio". They are all growing up so fast. We got to see Jenny the elephant that has been on the news so much lately. The zoo was fun for all of us and we can't wait to go back.
